Grahnab

The history of the company Grahnab started in 1992, when Tomas Grahn bought Allan Ahlgren’s organization and longtime manufacturing of mousetraps in Marieholm. The town is located in the region known for its entrepreneurs and many factories in Southern Sweden. Allan Ahlgren had ran the company since the 1930’s and was a well-known and well-reputed manufacturer in the area.

Tomas and his wife Anna Grahn have since then developed the company to include several services and products. The mouse traps and the trapping devices are still parts of the product range. In excess of these the company has grown to include additional services, subcontract work and different products to end customer.

In 2007 Grahnab moved to the main town in the region, Gnosjö. The background was the purchase of a bigger wire bending machine, which resulted in a need for larger space. At the same time a weld company, known as Sigab, was acquired. Hence the human resources, competences and potentials to meet needs of new and former customers increased.

But Grahnab wasn’t satisfied. In 2009, during the recession, Tomas and Anna Grahn aimed for growth. Another relocation came up, this time to bigger and more appropriate factory premises in the west part of Gnosjö.

A wide range of products within the field of subcontract work, such as wire, pipe and sheet metal products. The company has started to specialize in shop fittings, where among others Hennes&Mauritz is a customer.
Competence for hard and complex missions where other companies fail. It concerns in particular robot and TIG welding, but also more detailed and specific manual metal arc (MMA?) welding, where several years of professional qualification is shown. As a result we supply many quality productions, such as Bengt&Lotta’s designed products.
